Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Holofolio collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Your content: the cards, collection, watchlist and price alerts you save.
• Payment data: if you subscribe to Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and customer ID, not your full card details.
• Technical data: basic request and log data needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, sign you in, save your collection and alerts, send transactional emails (verification, password reset, price alerts you opt into), process subscriptions, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. It is essential to the Service and is not used for advertising.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run Holofolio: hosting and database infrastructure, Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and a web-push service if you enable push notifications. Each processes data only to provide their service.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and request a copy, by managing your account or emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
